The market fit for Partner-Ally is typically an established small business where the owner is still engaged in day-to-day operations and looking to leave that responsibility while building for long-term growth and sustainability. This might also include an owner who is looking to build a business that holds value without their involvement to support a shift in leadership, funding or plan for exit. Ideally this is a small business in the United States and sees themselves as a service based business.
The primary focus of the engagement will be ongoing 1:1 Owner Support through discussions that happen weekly to monthly with support in-between. The owner's goals and business strategy are both key considerations during a wholistic review that does not focus on one area of expertise. The goal is to achieve implementation and not just a list of what you should do or produce self-serving recommendations.
After the initial discussion we will determine whether the best support options include 1:1 Owner Coaching, Strategic Plan Facilitation, Advisory Assistance or some combination of these. The approach is designed to meet you where you are at, help identify the solution and provide support that works best for you. We can adjust the engagement at any point with a 30-day notice.
First, we will establish a rhythm or overarching schedule and the expectation is that an appropriate amount of time is committed to the agreed approach. For 1:1 Coaching, this typically includes one-hour sessions once a month up to once a week. There will be requests for base company information and connections to reports within your organization potentially. The effort of implementing solutions will rely on your internal team or your external resources so the outcome is in your control. Guidance, support and framework will be provided to you, but at the end of the day, you and your team has to own the long-term deliverable and final outcome.
The initial discussion is obligation free and you have the option of a complimentary coaching session or business brainstorming session to try this out before starting an engagement. If there is alignment then a proposed scope with expectations will be produced and only after this agreement is executed will there be any hard cost. Engagements are fixed cost and include support options so you receive the help you need without worrying about getting billed by the hour. The investment amount will depend on the level of coaching or the scope of the engagement however the goal is to create parameters that are tailored for you and that work with your goals. With a 30-day notice the engagement can be terminated at any point, no long term commitments are required.
